How to Upload a File in SummarAIze
Uploading a file to SummarAIze is simple and quick. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth experience.
- Head to the Upload Tab
- Select a Brand Kit (Optional)
- If you have a Brand Kit set up, select it here.
- If you donโt have one, you can skip this step or set one up in the Brand Kit section.
- Add Your File or YouTube Link
- Upload an audio or video file from your device, or
- Paste a YouTube link for processing.
- Add/Confirm Key Information
- Enter or confirm speaker names, keywords, target audience, and language.
- If you selected a Brand Kit, these fields will be pre-filled based on your settings.
- Click Upload ๐
๐ After Uploading:
- Once your file processes, youโll be directed to a screen to confirm your speakers.
- Then, youโll be taken to your results page, where your assets will start generating in real-time.
Supported File Types
SummarAIze supports over 100+ audio formats and encodings, including:
- MP3, MP4, MP2, AAC, WAV, FLAC, PCM, M4A, Ogg, Opus, WebM
If your file format isnโt listed but is a commonly used audio or video format, itโs likely supported.
File Size and Duration Limits
- Free Trial Users: Max file size 2GB, up to 60 minutes of content for testing.
- Paid Users: Max file size 10GB, with limits based on your plan:
- Creator Plan: 5 hours/month
- Content Manager Plan: 10 hours/month
- Business Plan: 30 hours/month
- No duration limit per file, but processing is based on the planโs total minutes.
Uploading Multiple Files
Currently, you can only upload one file at a time. We are working on bulk uploadsโif you're interested, please email support@summaraize.com.
How Long Does Processing Take?
- Audio & Video Files: Processing is almost instant once uploaded.
- YouTube Links: May experience a 1-2 minute delay while the video is fetched.
Best Practices for High-Quality Transcription
For the best results, follow these guidelines:
- โ Upload high-quality audio and video files.
- โ Ensure clear speech without excessive background noise.
- โ Use external microphones or high-quality recording devices.
- โ Avoid overlapping voices or excessive music when possible.
